Hi. I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Western Australia. My approach draws on a range of evidence based interventions to support adjustment or manage mental, emotional, or relational difficulties. Most importantly, I seek to provide a genuinely open/curious approach, which provides a safe place to explore difficult issues. In addition to my clinical qualifications I have undertaken advanced training in Schema Therapy and I am registered as an MBT Practitioner (Mentalization Based Treatment) - in Australia as well as with the British Psychoanalytic Council.

Fees Dawson's fee for a standard 50-60 min therapy session is $240 (from 1 January 2026)*
(note that the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee is $311 for a 46-60min session).
Medicare Rebates: If you have a referral from a GP (with a Mental Health Care Plan) you will receive a $141.85 Medicare rebate per session for up to 10 sessions over a calendar year Click here for details
Private Health Fund Rebates: For private health fund rebates, enquire with your fund and state you intend to see a Clinical Psychologist. I will provide an invoice suitable for you to make a claim.
